We chose to do this subject because most of us in this group have experienced irresponsible drinking of someone under the age of 21. We figure this is one way to alert teens of the dangers of drinking.

ReplyDeleteI think this project was one of the most helpful videos to incoming freshman at Ball State. It highlighted one of the most dangerous events here at school. The video was well thought out how they turned from humor to serious in the end
ReplyDeleteI really like this video because it is something almost EVERY college kid can relate to. I thought it was really well planned out and it was interesting. I liked how there were facts brought up on the screen along with a clip demonstrating the act. Overall, really well done!

I thought it was a good way to present what alcohol can do to someone and the dangers of abusing alcohol especially being underage. I thought that also making a group name for you guys, SAD was also a good way to really send the message to the audience. Having statistics involved in the presentation really sent the serious message that I think you all were going for.

ReplyDeleteHilarious, in yet very serious at the same time. People I think tend to be too frivolous with their drinking habits, and may let themselves get into troublesome situations. The video would grab the attention of anyone with it's use of humor, but also set a tone that is really important at the same time. Both elements equal a great video.

ReplyDeleteI thought your video seemed kind of too scripted. you should have made it seem a little bit more real or said why you are against alcohol so much. other than that i thought it was good video with good facts. good job!
ReplyDeleteI believe that most college students find drinking the cool or fun thing to do. By adding humor to the video it shows that you all understand that concept, but making it serious at the end showed that even when you are having fun, things can go horribly wrong. The video should wake up some of the college students who think they are untouchable, and who think one more drink won't hurt. Even though the video was made in a short amount of time, I think that it was very effective to the target audience. The video also contained several facts that most college teens are unaware of. The video was eye-opening, and you all did a great job!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite video by far. The video was very funny, and very true. They did a good job giving the facts of alcohol abuse, and entertaining us at the same time. The transitions between scenes was flawless, props to the editor. The video starts off being humorous and then takes a violent swing into serious problems, just how alcohol can be. This video got my attention, and I know that it would grab the attention of many others.
ReplyDeleteI thought this really caught the audiences attention but I don't think that you really conveyed the message you really wanted to because I can see how some people might not take the video seriously and just think it is funny or fun.
