Ariel, Audrey, Jess, and Kellee Present: Greeks vs. Carters

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbjXPIzPN7U

We chose this subject because as freshman we wanted to see which restaurant appealed to the upperclassmen around Ball State's campus and why they liked it!

  2. The presentation was well planned out and everyone spoke well and loud. The movie was good however was hard to figure out what everyone was talking about. There was no organization to the video. However the video was amazing in the fact on how each scene transitioned to another. Kept me entertained.

  3. i thought the video was good and it told us some facts about each place, greeks and carters. I thought it was pretty interesting but there could have been more people asked because 5-6 ratio doesnt seem very convincing to me. Altogether it seemed like a pretty good video.

  4. I enjoyed all of the facts about the founders of Carters and Greeks, even though I could only hear a couple of them. I think if you could have gotten more than 11 people to comment on the subject it would have been more interesting to see what snack the larger majority liked.

  5. This was a good video. It was a good topic to choose to get the whole campus involved. I liked the fact that there was a diversity in the people you asked what they liked better. It looked like they had a lot of fun making it. It will probably help students maybe decide where they want to eat late at night.

  6. It was pretty cool learning a little more about carters and greeks and the video was clever though it would've been interesting to see how many people didn't even know about them.

  7. This presentation was one of the best in the class. You could tell they worked hard on it. I liked their topic because almost everyone here at BSU has tried both Greeks and Carters late at night. The only suggestion i have is maybe they could make the transition from slide to slide slightly slower

  8. Good job guys! Your video was really funny and creative. I liked how you used opinions from other students around campus to get a more accurate survey. As Tess said, you guys could have sent out a survey to get even more people's opinion.

  9. The video was a topic that every Ball State student knows about very well and has most likely eaten before. I wish i was able to hear the commentary at the end better.

  10. I liked this video because it was humorous and entertaining. However if the people would have given more of a reason why they liked greeks or carters I think that would have been a little more convincing.

  11. I like this video and I thought it had a really good topic! It was interesting information to learn about and they looked like they had a lot of fun with it.I wish they had talked a little slower in their clips because i couldn't tell what they were saying a couple times. Good Job Girls:)

  12. I really liked how you guys got a lot of other people than your friends to ask for this project. It really gave a variety of opinions and helped the project out. Also love the song choice.

  13. I really liked your project. I have been to both carter's and greek's and I like greek's pizza better. I like how you got the opinion of people you didn't know. I thought it was funny on the part where she came out of the bathroom with the newspaper. Good project guys!

  14. I liked the idea of asking BSU students because that is what we all are. But I think it would have been nice to see more people instead of just about 10. I was impressed with how you guys made the movie because I don't think that many people know how to do that. Maybe working on audio would have shown the video better. Also, I think if you guys would have given a little more background information on the two restaurants it would have made more sense to why there is such a division between the two restaurants. I know you guys had some, but it was hard to hear throughout the movie so maybe you had enough information, but I would not know because sometimes I could barely hear it.

  15. I thought your topic of Greeks vs. Carters was very creative. Your presentation about your video was good, however, it was hard to hear some people at points. The video was creative as well and I like the fact that you tried to give a little background information into how the two companies were first started. The blooper reel at the end was also funny and creative. Good Job.

  16. I really liked this video- firstly because I've actually never heard of Carters. I think its great and easy for college students to relate to. It would have been cool if you could have somehow surveyed a larger college population, but that would have taken a lot more time/effort. Given the project outline- the video was great

  17. This video was creative and very useful for Ball State students. Everyone that has a late night, finds that they'll get the "midnight munchies" and sometimes trying to find the best place, whats open, or what to get is harder than it should be. This video will help anyone who doesn't know what to do in that situation. I like the idea of asking people what they liked and getting some back ground information on the restaurants. The blooper part of the video was also very entertaining, which just makes you like the video that much more. I could say however, just like everyone else, they you could have used more opinions from others about where the best place to eat is... It might have been cool if you could have found out a secret about some recipe or something... but really, it was a good film.

  18. This was a good topic because it relates to BSU students and I liked how you asked a bunch of random people the question. The video quality wasn't very good. But the speakers were loud and clear. good job!

  19. The topic was a really good choice, it really appealed to all Ball State students; freshmen through senior. The background information on both Greeks and Carters was very informative. I really liked the "survery" type of video that was made. Good Job!

  20. Choosing a relevant topic made the video more interesting. The bloopers at the end also made the video unique and comical. During the in class presentation the video did mess up a little bit, but that's unavoidable. I believe that you could have offered more choices in the survey, and possibly surveyed more people, for a better sample size. Overall you all did a great job, and I enjoyed the video! :)

  21. The topic choice was great. It was very informative and related to all different classes of students at BSU. The background information on both Greeks and Carters was very beneficial. I also enjoyed the "survey" type of video.

  22. This topic was great because it is something that almost all Ball State students know about. The sound in the video was a little much, which made the speakers hard to hear. But the overall concept of the video was smart. There was great information about both Greeks and Carters pizza. The bloopers at the end were funny too. Good Job!

  23. The commercial was very well put together. I personally am a Carters fan, can't get enough chili cheese dogs. You guys did a very good job getting the key points of the info across and not having any pointless detail. Maybe a couple more votes would have showed the true favorite on campus though!

  24. I really liked the fact that you went out and talked to students to see which one they prefered and I really liked that you told a little of the history about each one but I thought you could have used a little more feedback from students because your stats were really close and it would still be hard to determine which one is better.
