- I have a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition from Ball State University, where I also teach first-year rhetoric and writing.
The website was very well put together and was very creative. The tips page was very helpful and shows us what to do if we are put in a bad situation. The moves page was very good to actually know what moves to use when you are put in different situations. All the facts were good to know since there have been a lot of attacks lately. All together i though the website was very interesting and it actually looked like a real website that someone could go to to get information.
ReplyDeleteGreat website all moves actually are effective in a fight. This is a must for college woman to learn how to prevent an assault. The groups oral presentation was very well planned out to give plenty of information and to explain their website.

ReplyDeleteThis was a great idea especially since it pertains to what was happening on campus at that time. I thought the pages were well put together and easy to read. They were also creative and not boring. The facts were also very useful if someone was to get attacked.

The different pages were also very consistent. Your group's presentation was also presented very well and everyone spoke loudly and clearly and knew their topics very well. Good Job

ReplyDeleteThis web site was very professional in appearance and content. I think that the tips and situations, plus the moves that you teach along with those situations, is very effective. The website is easy and quick to get whatever information you're looking for out of it, and it's totally accurate. I think college girls should take sometime to figure out some self defense techniques. It can't hurt.

ReplyDeleteI thought the website was very informative and a great topic for women. Many girls don't know exactly what to do in those types of situations or often get very scared and panic. I liked the tips and moves part the best because it explains exactly what to do and not to do. maybe you could put in a video of someone teaching to do a technique. good job!

ReplyDeleteI think that the topic was a great one because of the attacks that have happened on Ball States Campus recently. I initially thought that this was a great website to read about because of these incidents. The pages were well organized, and the listing style made it easy for the reader to read. They seemed like they did quite a bit of research to make this website. The visuals were great. I especially enjoyed the main one with the inspirational quote. Good Job!
ReplyDeleteThis website was well thought out. The pictures used were pretty creative. The best part of this website is it is very helpful to college women. The only thing I could suggest is maybe organizing the statistics page differently. (This page was still very good, I personally would have just put bullet points or something to distinguish the points a different way)

ReplyDeleteThis website was very informative and very true. All college women need to understand that attacks aren't uncommon. Simple "moves" could be the difference between life and death. The statistics and tips should not be missed. The site was very well put together, making the information very easy to access. I feel that most woman say, "that wont happen to me." This website will make most think twice. It takes two minutes to read over the site, why not inform yourself. Again, very well done, and a very good topic.
